Dragonball is the original series that was created from the mind of the greatest anime creator in the entire universe, Akira Toriyama. Dragonball was launched in the year of 1985.

Dragaonball started off by demonstrating his very non-selfish behavior towards other people by helping them out in time of need and also his good-hearted nature to quest for the Dragonballs on Earth. Dragonball then progressed to show less and less humor and then developing into more of a combat oriented series. Son Goku mainly fights the Red Ribbon army since they're corrupting the planet.

Dragonball ends and then progresses into Dragonball Z.
